Dear Ben,

This is Monday afternoon Oct the 9th. I am celebrating my third year in the army by writing. Gosh when I left home who would have believed that I would be in the service three years and still plugging along.

At this time I am at the Ord getting my vehicle fixed. By that I am getting a lot of rest. Also they have a radio here. So I have been lucky enough to hear a could of the World Series games. Sure sounds good to hear something from the States. The game comes on at about eight in the evening.

Well only six more days before hunting season. I won’t be a bit surprised if you haven’t slipped out and took a crack at one.

It is cooling off quite a bit over here. How does the cow barn look all fixed up. How does Margie and Jimmie like school? What does the teacher have to say. Ha. Your Bro. Felix.
