Dear Ben,

Finished doing my washing this morning so now I will do some writing.

It is a nice day, pretty warm the sun is out so it is a nice bright day. Gosh we sure can not sick on the weather lately. Some of the early trees are starting to bud.

I got a letter from Elmer Ewald yesterday. I wrote him a letter about a month. To fine something to write about I asked him what Cars were selling for. I told him I should have sold my Plymouth. So I guess he took it for granted that I wanted to sell it. He went out and prices cars said car like mine was worth $725 to $750 on a trade in then he said he would give me $625 Six hundred and twenty five dollars cash put it right in the bank for me. Sounds pretty good to me. Now I want to know you thing I wish you would talk it over with Rich and let me know as soon as possible. I think selling it would be a good idea looks like it will be at least a year or more before we are free again

Sow much for that of course if you see him and you could talk him out of twenty five dollars. So much better, bring up the front tires to him. Ha. Ha.

So you and Helen are taking in some dancing these days. I am glad to here that. Dancing keeps you young. And limber.

I went to a dance last night. The music is about 60 – 40 little bit too much up and down if you get what I mean.

It is nearly dinner time while I was building some shelves in the kitchen yesterday I noticed we are having chicken for dinner today.

Certainly would like to have dinner with you today bet you have some thing good our cooks don’t know how to fix chicken very good wish they could flavor it with caraway seed.
