Dear Ann,
I thought I would drop you a line on this free paper. Ha. Ha. This is where we stayed last nit and are making use of the room today. Erwin and a fellow by name of Newton, and I got this room together, has a bath and a shower, boy we sure made use of that we don’t have much of any place to clean up at the camp
This is sorta of a nice clean town, and boy did the beer taste good been little better then three week since I had a drop.
Didn’t do much last nit we didn’t know where the high spots were. I sorta like it here in Texas will be lot better if they move us to the Barracks . The weather is hot but you don’t mine it so much after you get used to it.
That snake and spider talk there isn’t much to it. so far we saw only one snake and it wasn’t poison some of the fellows caught it alive and had it in there hands there are a few black window spiders so far they saw three and I didn’t see any yet.
Boy I wish I had my car here, sure would come in handy I could even make money boy taking a load in.
What be you having for dinner, I wish I was there. sure could go for a good home cooked dinner. I lost a little weight since I come here I weigh my self a while ago 193 lbs. I feel better at that weight. Ha.
Did you see that picture of Harold Stahl in the paper. I’ll bet he played plenty of suck ass to make Sgt. about half of the ratings are made by sucking
Well I guess I’ll stop I have to take a shit. Last Sun and Mon I was sorta sick I had the runs made me pretty weak. Most everybody had them
