I want to thank you for renewing my insurance on my car. I thought about it some time ago but then I forgot all about it so I am glad you took care of it.
Well I suppose you have the potatoes all out by now. If you have its a good job done.
Say when you write try and send me Jimmy Houseman address and APO number. I would like to see him if he is anywhere near so I could reach him without much trouble.
I am sending you and Ann a little souvenir. I am sending them together as its much easier. its two hand carved birds the pheasant is for you and the red bird is for Ann and Rich. They are small but sorta expensive. cost me two pounds 15 shillings or about $11.00. I hope they reach you safe. I think they are real nice.
I am still waiting for your letter so I can here what you got the first day out hunting don’t forget to mention how many you missed. Ha. Also about Al’s shooting.
the other day out on the range I had about the best record of shooting of our Co. good Eh.
