I got a kick out of them

Dear Ann,
I got a letter from Sylvia and Leona. I got a kick out of them so I will write you a short letter and send them to you. got your letter today.
I already wrote a letter to Ben, Sonny, and now to you so I guess that will be enough for today.
I got the Petersburg paper every Wed. so once in a while put some thing in there. Ha. Ha. I almost had a notion that you put something about my ratting. but I guess its maybe best not. they might think I am Harold Stahl. Ha. Ha. I enjoy getting it only there hasn’t been so much news in it. maybe because nearly everybody I no is in the army.
I saw Ben’s name being Policeman in the papers.
Are you going to dance to nit St. Patrict. I wish I could go to Hickory.
Tell Rich to take a drink of wine for me. wish I was over to your place tonight before I went to Hickory ha. Felix.
